And Now

And now I run
Through the night and into the sun
Through the snow and through the rain
Through the joy and through the pain

All I’ve learned is nothing
Certain uncertainty of something
I shook the tree for the apple of my eye and gave it all away
We Deny it all avoiding the places we might meet in the day

Little birds in our lives they make there nests
Loaded guns to our heads
Left confused with words of like and care
Left with this the truth I was unaware

This life is full of choice
But you never know God could use neon signs
And he uses that soft voice
Through others often not a familiar noise

And now I run
Through the night and into the sun
Through the snow and through rain
Through the joy and through the pain

I’ll make my way
Letting go to be what may
Each running step a word I pray
I hope there was something there I hope it stays
Sometimes you have to let something go
To see if something was really there
