A spoon full of sugar

When my space becomes one with yours eventually

and I’m feeling that potentially

More is expected of the air between you and me

our words pyramids of crystal colors spreading out evenly

to compliment your beauty and this moment completely

what are words now our smiles say it all

cartoon birds around your head singing as leaves fall

others passing by but time has stopped

pushing past the rain, drop for drop,

shot for shot with compliments we kill each other with kindness

and it all reminds us of the reality that love is good, life is hard, and God is Great
