Some times in life your nothing but a blind man
Striving for something that was destroying you
Inhibiting you from a real life and future
I was that man a year ago
Today and this month are the anniversary
A year ago I would promise myself to make up for a lost year
I would have never guessed I would be where I am today
Along with getting lost along the way
Many times
I opened my eyes
I saw
The sun sets on this coast
Sometimes it’s not thinking outside the box that makes the difference
